Welcome from the President and Deputy President / Chairman 

Thank you for your interest in the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF, the Freemasons’ charity).

As one of the largest grant-making foundations in the country, we are proud to be funded entirely by the generosity of Freemasons, their families, and friends.

With roots dating back to the 18th century, the MCF was established in 2016 and since then, we have provided over £120 million in charitable support to more than 3,000 charities, as well as families and individuals of all ages.

The MCF is guided by a dedicated Board of Trustees which is supported by a number of committees, each of which brings diverse professional perspectives and expertise to our charitable activities and supporting functions.

Committee members play a critical role in shaping our strategy, policies, and the impact that we have on the communities, charities and individuals we support.

Our committee members have opportunities to work closely with members of staff who deliver the work of the charity and, when vacancies arise, committee members may be invited to join the Board of Trustees.
